When I saw the Burberry Prorsum’s F/W 2014 collection, I was in shear  fashion lust. The prints. The colors. The lace. I could seriously see myself in every single piece. As it’s not totally realistic for me to purchase any of these pieces right now (moving has me on a tight budget), I decided to try and recreate a look with some budget friendly pieces.

When I saw this lace dress from Asos, I knew immediately that it would be a great piece to get for my quest to recreate The Burberry look. My look was completed with an old belt and scarf that I got in a little shop in Paris.

Normally, I stray away from looks that are overtly sexy because I have a very curvaceous and sexy body and I’m not one  to put myself in a box but its kind of nice to be a tad bit sexy once in a while and I think I was able to bring down the sex factor a tad by wearing the scarf.

I donned this look while attempting to get into the Jean Paul Gautier show. My friend and fellow blogger Monroe was invited and tried her best to get Krystin and I in but security was too tight. Even though we weren’t able to get into the show we did have a great opportunity to people watch outside of the show and catch some great street style. Along with and great meal, our night was basically made.
