Going to Paris for Paris fashion week has been such a dream of mine. Earlier this year (January 1st be exact) I made a dream board for the year (remember this dream board post?) . On my dream board, I put that I would love to go to Paris and more so for PFW. After having such an amazing experience in Europe, I can confidently say that dream boards work. I went to Paris fashion week and got to actually see shows. One of those shows was Guy Larouche. It so funny how you see thing on Tv and in the stores, but seeing the Guy Larouche show live was a true “Momma I made it” moment.

Guy Larouche’s collection was one of the most truly wearable collections amongst the S/S 2015 collection. To be honest, a lot of these designer collections are geared toward  the most fashion conscious individuals and it’s refreshing to see collections that the women that doesn’t eat, sleep, and dream , fashion can approach and feel accepted.  The first set of looks where color blocked leather looks which I could easily see even the most fashion awkward women wear and look very stylish and put together. The next couple of looks wear my favorite. Jumpers and overalls in navy blues tones. They seems so wearable yet chic and I could easily see how they could be dressed up or down. The next set of looks, were work appropriate piece (beside the prof erased pieces)  in cream and grey. Very well tailored and polished. These looks were followed by a few looks in navy and yellow tones which featured an awesome snake skin print. The last looks were very stylish yet again wearable  “sequined”paneled mini dress that I could easily see sported in the chicest of bars in NYC.
