It’s that time of year again! The streets of New York are bustling with all of the activities of Fashion Week. This Fashion Week is extra special for me because I am a New Yorker now and it is so cool to being able to go back to my apartment for a little R&R before my next show. Fashion week at Lincoln center in no more and it’s replacements are a bit lackluster but I have still been having a pretty good time checking out some great shows. I saw three that day which I will be doing reviews on very soon so stay tuned for those.

This is my first look of the season. Though this look isn’t crazy, it was a bit out of my comfort zone. I’m use to wear figure skimming, silhouette flatter looks and this crop top is fairly boxy. I did love trying something new and I did get a lot of complements, even from Ms. Jaime Chung, but I can’t really say that I’m in love with this look. I did want to share it though because I think that fashion is all about risks and sometimes the risk pays of and sometimes it doesn’t but in the end it should all still be fun.

I wanted to add a bold piece to this look so I decided to drape my favorite vintage green jacket over this two piece set. I know I’ve said this like 10 times on this blog already but I really love this coat and I feel like its always elevates every look. I’ve nicked naked this jacket Franks Red hot, because I put that shit on everything haha.
