I’d like to give you my normal witty banter and tell you a cool story behind this look, but on Sunday I lost a women very near and dear to my heart and feel as though I’d like to dedicate this post to her. My Aunty Princess was one of the most kind and loving people on this earth and though we were not blood, her 50+ year friendship with my mother and our family couldn’t make us any closer. I just want to dedicate this post to her because she was one of my biggest fans and always supported me in everything I did. I love you Aunty Princess, RIP.
On to this look, this is what I wore to New York fashion week day 5. I had a few shows that day including Xuly Bet, which was a stunning display of 90’s inspired looks and the art hearts fashion shows. I was caught by Essence Magazine streetstyle photog in this look and though I don’t think it’s a super flattering shot, I am honor to have been included in the streetstyle round up (check it out here ).
