If you’re even slightly in tuned to pop culture, you know the title of this post is in reference to the Drake song “Back to Back” he released yesterday. Though this post has nothing to do with that, I thought it rather fitting because for the first time in a while, I have managed to post two looks in one week, back to back. hahaha

Any who, This look was one that I sported for my birthday last month, June 18th, and had yet to share with you. For my birthday, I went to the Polo Bar, which I will do a review on soon because it was that darn good. This look literally had all heads turning. I got so many compliments, it just made my birthday that much more special. What was also cool was that Lavern Cox, from Orange is the New Black, was sitting in the table right next to us, talk about a birthday surprise.

I’m not sure if you guys can tell or not but I’ve been in full workout and eating healthy mode for the wedding and it is really starting to show. I’ve gone down about a size or so and my waist is starting to get a lot more defined. As a workout routine, I’ve taken up Kickboxing. It’s very intense but the accomplishment you feel after every class is great. I can’t wait to see myself in a month or so.

I live for a unique LBD and this one is no except. The laser cut-outs make for an interest detail in an all black dress. To up the ante, I paired the dress with my uber fabulous Giuseppe Zanotti heels and this amazing vintage feather stole I got in Amsterdam and few years ago. All together, theses piece gave me all the drama and sophistication I was looking for while entering the 26th year of my life.
