5 Great NYC Restaurants with outdoor seating

Let’s face it, at this point, if you’re like me, you are tired of making every single one of your meals or eating takeout in your apartment for the 150th day in a row. Now that the city is in phase 3, and our cases of Covid-19 are still low and haven’t spiked, it may be the time to venture out for a meal made by someone else at a place thats not your apartment (safely of course).

One of my favorite things about NYC is the amazing restaurant scene. Even though we’ve lost a few good ones to the pandemic, still others are reemerging from their 3 month hiatus. Due to Government orders, we still aren’t allowed to eat inside of the restaurants but many of them have been making great outdoor seating areas to accommodate desperate New Yorkers like myself. Here is a list of 5 great NYC restaurants with outdoor seating.

1. Dante West Village

The sister to it’s Greenwich Village location, Dante West Village just opened with a great outdoor space and a menu that slated to be just as good as the

2. Jack’s Wife Freda

I actually just had lunch here for the first time here today and I am happy to report that the hype is definitely justified. Great drinks, food and service.

3. Pastis

I’ve spoke about Pastis here on the blog before and my feelings haven’t changed. This French restaurant has great food and an amazing outdoor space to eat it.

4. Peaches Hothouse

This South cuisine staple in Bed-Stuy is one of my favorite bunch places and the have great out door seating to serve up their famous Nashville-style hot chicken.

5. La Esquina

Robbie and I ate here two week ago and it a pretty solid Mexican restaurants. They even have Mexican Coke! Also, who could pass up on the opportunity at eating somewhere so photogenic? ha
