NYFW S/S 2018

Fashion week went by in a blur this season. I swear I was just worrying about what to wear and now its over. Though it went by quickly I was able to catch some great shows this season, meet some awesome people and strut my stuff for the street photogs.

My first show of the season was the Chromat. This is the look that I put together for that show. This wasn’t one for my meticulously curated looks that I planned on wearing. Though it was fashion week, I’m still a real estate agent and run my own business, so I had to run from meetings to shows and really wanted to wear something a bit practical for both. The top, skirt and belt are what I wore for real estate work and then I added the shoes, jacket, pins and sunglasses to give it a bit of fashion week flair. For it being a totally last minute look, I think it came out pretty well and I even got the attention of Tamu McPherson (one of my favorite bloggers from All the pretty Birds) and Essence’s street Style photographer Hannah Saleh.
