I can’t lie, it was not easy taking these photos. New York is experience an insane cold front and I was basically freezing my buns off to take these flick. I guess it serves me right for procrastinating, I put this look together weeks ago and only now came around to wearing and sharing.

Statement sleeves are going to be big this year. I was a little apprehensive to try this trend out because my arms are probably my least favorite part of my body and I feel as though having something that brings the eye to your least favorite parts is probably counter intuitive but a last, I took the plunge and tried it out any way. To my delight, I don’t look absolutely ridiculous in this, yay me. I actually think the sleeve do the opposite of my hypothesis, they are a bit more flattering then I thought. Now that I’ve been able to test the waters a bit, I am a little more confident on trying out more statement sleeves styles. Here’s hoping it turns out well. I’m sure you all will get to see the results of my experimentation.

Ok, enough about the sleeves, can we spend a few moment talking about this epic coat?! This baby came all the way from Paris, where I found her in a cute vintage shop on my trip last September. I was debating whether to get her or a cute leather backpack. Though, I still think about that unique little backpack from time to time, I’m happy with my decision to bring this beautiful fur back home with me. Honestly, this coat have been a lifesaver in the bitter cold and I have been wearing it contently. Don’t judge me ok, I have to get my money’s worth right?
