New Day two of Paris fashion week was pretty interesting. We started the day by going to the Guy Larouche show. If you can remember from my last Paris fashion week, Krystin and I were able to attend the Guy Larouche show and it was pretty epic. This year, however, we weren’t as lucky as the show had been over booked and was at capacity. Although a little disappointed, it was still nice to see all of the streetstyle and get papped by the streetstyle photographers. After the leaving the show venue, we grabbed lunch. Now I have to tell you about this awful restaurant and food. This was probably some of the worst food that I have ever had. I like to think of myself as a very adventurous eater, I am more than happy to try something once. So when I saw a spiced pork sausage on the menu, I didn’t think that it would be anything that would put me out of my element. Boy was I wrong. This sausage was one that was encased in pig intestines, which honestly isn’t something that through me off really. The big issue with this dish was that, the intestines, and meat inside for that matter, didn’t seem as though they had been properly cleaned and seasoned, so it basically tasted like pig sh*t. Always one to give things a second chance, I took another bite and basically gagged from the overwhelming flavor of farm feces. Definitely not the finest hour but luckily I had some frites and Perrier to help settle my stomach.

In an effort to forget our awful lunch (Krystin and Robbie’s meals weren’t any better), we went to one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city, Montmarte. This quaint area, which use to be home to famous artists like Picasso, is my favorite area in Paris to vintage shop. We spent a few hour combing through and trying on vintage pieces at a vintage store, with no name, on the Rue Houdon. I remembered stumbling upon it on my last trip to Paris and though I didn’t find anything that time, this time I hit the jackpot! I got some lust worthy outer wear from this store, which I can’t wait to show you guys.

Vintage shopping can surely create an appetite, so after leaving the store, we ended our day with a quick bite at a lovely cafe around the Abessess metro stop. At some point between being mesmerized by all of the beautiful older buildings and little cobble stone streets, drinking delicious cafe au lait, and shopping till I dropped, I was able to snap some photos of today’s look.

As obscure as the name of this post is, I just had to give a little nod to all of the amazing doors I kept stumbling upon in Paris. Is there any door in the whole city that isn’t photogenic? Being a real estate agent (a more importantly a women), gives me a bit of a 6th sense when it comes to spotting architectural details and my senses were constantly tingling because of all of the magnificent doors in Paris. Luckily for me, I found this perfect blue beauty to complement the blue lenses in my Le Specs sunglasses.
